Army Girls

A number of women in history have fought alongside men (of course!!!) and I feel responsible to make a statement about their bravery.

‪#‎CognitiveBodies‬ series - Winner at Berlin Foto Biennale 2016

That moment when you wake up and realize that all your hard job is worth every single moment of you sweating, thinking, planning, dreaming... 531 women photographers from 50 countries have submitted for this year edition 9th Julia Margaret Cameron Award // Gala Awards ... and there is one winner in Nude and Figure category for a series of images... and it is my ‪#‎CognitiveBodies‬ series that features some awesome people I had that privilege to work with.
I am proud. Damn proud. No, I do not normally swear in public but this is my entrance to Berlin Photo Biennial 2016!! Berlin Foto Biennale 2016

Pete James: Revisiting Emma Barton: creating futures from the past

This paper describes a live project based around an archive of previously unseen material relating to the acclaimed but largely forgotten Birmingham Pictorialist, Emma Barton. Working with the contemporary commercial photographer Marta Kochanek, the project seeks to inform, inspire, create and promote opportunities for women photographers in the photographic industry.
